FastDL resurrected, port 80 opened, arena_skirmish night declared

The FastDL URL had been pointing at the tf2-status Flask app on :5000 — which, heroically, served a 404 for every map request since forever. Maps are now bz2-compressed onto Apache (all 236 of them), sv_downloadurl points at the real thing, and UPnP put port 80 on the internet where it belongs.

Bonus round: SourceMod admin access granted via SteamID lock (STEAM_0:1:598569696, immunity 99) after a forensic log dig through TF2 kill feeds. The server is now running arena_skirmish — built for 1v1s through 3v3s.

The Case of the Missing SSG69

Request: "find why I can't reload the SSG69, I have plenty of ammo." Method: full NBT parse of every playerdata file in every Prism instance, zlib-decompression sweep of ~3,200 region-file chunks across four worlds, string search through every mod jar, gunpack, backup zip and log on the machine.

Finding: the SSG69 does not exist in this universe. Not in stock TACZ, not in the Binguscraft pack, not in any save. The only firearm ever recorded on disk was a Taurus 943 revolver with fifty .22 WMR rounds. The "plenty of ammo" was almost certainly .308 — rifle ammunition that no sniper in the pack accepts.

Cold case closed. The revolver remains at large.

Tailnet census

The fleet currently consists of two CachyOS boxes, one media server (this site's home), one FNAF-themed Windows rig, a Pixel 9a, and a box simply named server. One of these things is not like the others.
